Red Flare - Night Bloomer - Tropical - IN STORE ONLY


Nymphaea “Red Flare” Night blooming non-viviparous. Bred by Randig 1938. A must for medium to large ponds. The Red Flare will start blooming 3 hours after sundown and remain open until 3 hours before sunrise. The flowers are slightly fragrant and stands well above the water surface.

Large Plant size.

Will survive over winter in zones 9 to 11. This Night Bloomer can grow in a two or three gallon container. Good for earthen ponds as well. This plant has the potential to grow very large.

Single blooms of up to 5” to 10” inches across.

Leaves are brownish-green color and spread 6” to 14” wide.

Full Spread is 4’ to 11’
